I finally got around to watching Glee. And, um, holy crap! Wow. Way to go RIB, I actually fell in love with it again.

There’s still the over the top high school stereotypes and immaturity, but it’s balanced with Rachel’s new maturity and Kurt’s storyline, and even Marley and Jake’s stories bring balance to the show - a balance it desperately needed. It feels like Glee’s full of potential again. It feels good to be teetering once again on the edge of anticipation with this show. I’ve missed the feeling.

The performances just keep getting better and better on this show. Not just the singing and the choreography, but the cinematography too. Cutting back and forth between characters in this episode didn’t feel so disjointed, the way it did last season. It’s a pleasure to see Glee finally become something that I could love every week, instead of hate and love in equal proportions.

Also am I allowed to be a little disappointed that Dean Geyer wasn’t allowed to keep his Aussie accent? Because I’m a little disappointed.
