I really do like it when people tell me about themselves. It doesn’t matter what, it can be about their day, what they did that they found amazing, what their hobbies are, etc. I like knowing about people, in a way, it makes me feel like they trust me. You’re not bothering me with your rambling, I actually prefer to listen.

So, Star Trek: Into Darkness. Pretty good. Very predictable, but never boring. Still not in love with Benedict Cumberbatch after seeing it, though he was great in this. Holy crap, I may have just worked out an awesome plot for a series of 3 books that I now want to write. I’m too afraid to expand, in case the ideas sound stupid when I say them out loud, so I’m just going to leave it at that. But I’m really excited, even though I’ll probably have to do a shit tonne of research.

Ok but seriously, I got an assignment back today, which was the creative writing one I handed in, and I got an 80, which is a distinction! Fuck yeah!
Maybe I have hope for a career as a writer after all!

J.K Rowling said that her inspiration for Hagrid came from when she was 19 in a pub in the west country and this terrifying looking guy came in with these other biker guys and the only thing he talked to J.K about was how his cabbages were getting on
